The site of the project in Giubiasco is defined by the industrial axis along the railway and the axis of the valley, which is drawn by the canal that flows into the Ticino river. Organizing this gap has the role of both, arranging the end of the industrial expansion on the north side and also create the connection to the path network connecting the city to the landscape. The connection is not only thought in a physical way; it is also the visual relation to the panoramic view of the mountain scenery. Situated in a heterogeneous context the form does not search a relation to the neighbor houses. It aims a language of a more organic nature-form. Creating this in a systematic way, the form follows to grid-systems. One of them is the landscape-grid and the other one is the grid of the city. The elements that follow the grid of the city are outside of the entire shape and the elements that create the relationship to the landscape are inside the belly. In this sense, the project deals with the question of densification of Giubiasco in a way that it tries to define the border with a big building. But at the same time, it considers the transition to another scale of the landscape.
